I have loved being a pastor at One Church since we began in 2016. Throughout this time I also became a Spiritual Director and earned my MDiv at North Park Seminary in Chicago. Within One Church, I enjoy seeing new voices rise up to lead within our community. Some of my favorite times are the Slow Invasions that we have and the Community Conversations that Pastor Rob hosts. In my free time I love to walk around Iroquois Park, get lost in books with a cup of coffee, especially anything that is Howard Thurman. The audio of a baseball game or 90s music can usually be found somewhere near me.

I have been blessed to be one of the pastors at One Church since July of 2016.  I serve our church by helping anyone who comes through our doors get connected.  I have recently become a Spiritual Director and am in the process of earning my Masters of Arts in Christian Formation from North Park Seminary. I love being a part of our community and watching as we grow deeper in relationship. Moments where we have gotten to spend time together such as sharing meals, playing games, or church service in the Mains’ backyard are some of my favorite moments.  When I’m not with our church community you can find me outside with my family (if it isn’t too cold), reading a book, or hanging out with friends.

I am the Community Pastor at One Church. I also serve as the only and first State-wide Chaplain for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, an advocate for change and passionate about serving my community throughout the City of Louisville. I am a graduate of Spalding University (Louisville, KY) where I received my Bachelors of Art and my Masters degree in Theological Studies at Vanderbilt University Divinity School. I enjoy receiving spiritual direction, reading books (non-fiction), coffee, 80's genre of music and NFL football Seattle Seahawks and UNC NCAA basketball. I love spending time with my wife Kara, daughter Nyla and family.
